You Push a Button And Then They Just Give You Candy?

All rise for the noble King Arthur!

Da, da, da, da!

GiGi and Papa came over to celebrate Halloween with us.  They were excited to see one of the babies, but missed the other two terribly.  Luckily, we got some nice text messages from the other babies' parents.

He was a trooper with the costume for the first 30 minutes.

We had a neighborhood party and costume contest.  I thought ours looked pretty good, but we didn't place.  He didn't care.

His noble steed, Lady Morgan of the Fountain. (She was not happy.)

He liked pushing the leaves around in the gutter with his sword.

A kiss from his fair lady.

He didn't like it.

The crown came off.

But we were able to get it back on with a little bit of sweet tart bribery.

His horse wasn't able to do the work so Daddy had to carry him around.

Trick-or-treat!

Ah, what a night.  (anyone want to do the laundry?)

More Playtime in Arkansas

We did plenty of other fun things in Arkansas and filled up our days.  He needed some new shoes so we took a trip to their outdoor mall to find some.  The babies weren't excited about shopping, but we did take them to the outdoor play area.

He loves to climb.

Rowan is potty trained now!  He was very interested to watch Rowan sit on the toilet so we decided to take off his diaper and see what he would do.

You can see he looks a little nervous.  He didn't like it at all.  We then figured out that he watched Rowan read on the toilet and thought that must be the new reading room.

One morning at breakfast I gave him a bite of my cereal in milk.  He fell in love and enjoys eating his cereal this way.

He even uses the spoon properly.

His favorite part is drinking the milk.

Coloring is one of Rowan's new favorite things to do.  Art doesn't get it yet.  At one point, Art took a bite of a brown crayon and I had to dig the wax out of his teeth. He was not happy about that.

Our last day there we bought some cupcakes from a fancy store and brought them to the fountain in the square.  We let the baby play in the fountain.

Rowan eating her strawberry cupcake.

After cupcakes, we burned off some energy at the park.  It drizzled a little before so it ran some people off.  We had the whole place to ourselves.

We miss Bentonville!

Pumpkin Hunting

Dana took us to the botanical garden because they did a story and then pumpkin hunt for Halloween.  It was really pretty and interesting to see all of the fall foliage.

Not Uncle Wayne's chickens

They really wanted to touch them.

Touching the fossils

The highlight of his morning was removing the rocks and throwing them on the other side of the walkway.

This would have been the cutest picture, but there was some condensation on the lens.
