Fun With Arthur and Rowan

One day while they were in town, we went to the mall to do a little shopping. (I only paid a bill so no exciting purchases for me.)

I should be a spokesperson for Chick-fil-a. I love the food and always try to find one with him because they are family friendly.

Gigi payed the 75 cents for the trolley to move. They liked beeping the trolley bell.

Uncle Chris took them for a duo bike ride.

They are best buds together!

The Deck!

Here are more pictures of the deck and even a few in action!

This is day 1 of the roof build.

At one point, I had 3 contractor vehicles at my house and 2 trucks from AT&T.  We cut our cable wire at one point and they had to re-bury a new one. Unfortunately, they took their heavy machinery over our new sod.

Happy Easter!

Jesus died for our sins and how do we celebrate? With an egg hunt of course... Oh yeah, and there's a bunny, too. Ok, so the eggs and bunny both symbolize new life. Hopefully we don't generalize and stray away from the real meaning.

Here are some shots at the neighborhood egg hunt.

Arthur found all of the older girls. Smart guy, but not yet, son...

So, you may ask how he did. Not too well.  He wasn't really interested until I shook a few for him and showed him that goldfish were inside.  He picked them up, shook them, and wanted only the ones that made noise so the ones with stickers got passed over.

Another Reason Why Babies Should Always Be Watched

He got into my powdered makeup and dumped it all over himself.  I didn't think he was skilled enough to unscrew the tops. Check out his legs. Eh...

Fun at Nanny's Part 2

Our trip to Nanny's neck of the woods was quite an adventure. Here is part 2 of the excursion.

We went strawberry picking close to Loganville. They met this fine dog named Duke.

Duke loved sticks.

Strawberry picking!  He did fairly well at picking the red ones.

Rowan did much better at choosing the right ones.

He didn't like the experience much and just tried to run through the fields.

After our strawberry picking excursion, we went to Uncle Wayne and Aunt Deana's house. Here are Gigi and Spike riding in the back of the golf cart.

The chickens are just a few weeks old, but Uncle Wayne pulled one out for the kids to pet.

Then he pulled the bunny out by the nape of the neck.

The kids pretended to drive a tractor.

Sheep to Shawl

We had some passes to use for the Atlanta History Center. Brian always wants to go there, but I'm not much of a history buff.  We decided to go for the Sheep to Shawl festival.

Love this picture!

I think Arthur enjoyed watching.  He sat pretty quietly for the entire time.

It was interesting to see them shear a sheep.  It took him a while because he would narrate the entire thing.  I like how they tried to keep everything in one piece. I was shocked by how still the sheep was.

They gave all of the kids a piece of the wool they just sheared.

Here are some of the sheep and lambs used for the shearing.

Here's us around the farm afterwards.
