We have a cool mini water park near us that is too much fun!

He wasn't too happy the first time we went, but looking at the pictures, he may have gotten sunscreen in his eyes.

Most of the draw was to the shower and not the fun water park. I didn't get it.

All In A Day's Work

Went back to the farm. 

Here's how big the chickens are.  Their home is being built so for now, they're stuck in this small cage.

Peach and Berry Picking

We're all about our produce and it's fun to watch it grow. We took a trip with Gigi and Nanny to Rutledge, GA to "pick" some peaches.  We weren't able to actually pull them off of the trees, but having the farmers choose the perfect ones is alright with me. 

We resorted to picking fresh blueberries.  

Art ate every berry that he pulled off of the bushes. 

Yum. It is the beginning of blueberry season.  We got lucky that they had some ready.

Look how many peaches are on that one branch!

Back to our vacations:

From Austin, we headed to Destin for some family time.

More Traveling

Off to Austin, TX to visit Angie's new baby, Sam.  He enjoyed the airport which made my life a little better since we had 4 flights with 2 layovers within a few days.

Eating at Freebirds. Yum! Tasty burritos!

We got to feed quite a bit of wildlife in and near the river at Zilker Park. 

First it was small snapping turtles.

Then a nutria came to join the party.  Looked kind of like a Beaver with a rat tail.

Then some swans joined the nutria.

Don't forget about the huge turtle that wanted some food. (There's a smaller turtle right over the big one.)

Oh, forgot about the snake. (Its in the middle of the picture.)

Oh, the Austin skyline.

He was sad that he couldn't ride the Zilker Zephyr which is a train that runs around the park.  Sam ruled this park visit.

We ended the day with a trip to the car wash. Art didn't know what to think.

Here's Sammy Sam! That's what I called him all week.

We had dinner at Chuy's one evening and he had to join in the margarita fun.
