Rowan Heads Home

All good things come to an end. Rowan, Chris, and Dana had to leave us and head home.

Nanny's 90th!

It was my maternal grandmother's 90th birthday last Saturday. We had a huge celebration in her church hall. Of course, I got ZERO pictures of Art with the guest of honor.  We did get some nice family shots with a professional photographer that I cannot wait to see.

Sam's - Is this trip #4?

I think it is a ritual for us to visit Sam's at least once while Rowan visits. They were equally as adorable during this trip.

I Can't Believe I Missed St. Patty's Day!

I meant to put up soemthing fun for St. Patrick's Day, but got wrapped up in the week and completely forgot. I almost forgot to dress him in green the day of, but luckily, my wonderful husband saved the day!

Rowan and Dana visited for about a week.  It was great to have their company.  Arthur LOVED playing with Rowan and they were best buds all week.  It is so adorable to watch.

 

These pictures were actually taken on St. Patrick's Day. We bought Art a nice kelly green polo to celebrate.

He fed Gracie a few times. I like it is his peace offering for dogs.

They played really well together and kept each other busy.  I don't think a tear was shed all week. I miss hearing their laughter together.

Pink Eye - Yikes!

Somehow Art found pink eye so we've been battling that over the past few days. This picture is actually him 1 day into the drops. I felt terrible for him when he woke up because his eyes were glued shut.

Hooked on TV

I can't take another Sportscenter fanatic in my house... 

Brian watches tons of ESPN. Enough so that when I turn on the TV each day that ESPN is the channel that pops up. I turned it on for a little background noise one day and Art was hooked on the basketball game that was playing.  By the time I got my camera, a commercial was playing on TV.

What Child Doesn't Like Pizza?

Well, mine was one until last week.  We had a groupon for a local pizza place and Brian picked up a pie on his way home from work. Art usually doesn't touch it, but today he dug right in. 

His first few bites were cut up really small. We gave him the crust for his last few bites. 

What a happy guy!

I also want to show off his new skills. The Pediatrician told us to start practicing without a sippy cup. I thought it was crazy, but Art was totally ready.  He spills a little, but does really well at controlling his drinking with an open cup. 

Tiny Dogs Multiply!

Wassup!

You can't see here, but we purchased 2 more tiny dogs in case 1 tiny dog goes missing.  We were able to find the manufacturer on Amazon.com and stealthily purchased 2 more.  I guess we shouldn't get him used to sleeping with 3 tiny dogs or else we'll be in the same predicament as before...

We got out the crayons.  He didn't share very well, but I was able to get at least one at a time.  I drew something that was color appropriate and then he scribbled over it.

Mardi Gras Party

This post is of course a little late, but we celebrated Mardi Gras with a playdate.  Lots of friends came over and I made a King Cake! Oh my gosh, it was so tasty and even reminded me of how my dad would bring one to us every year from New Orleans.

He wasn't a good sport with the masks and hats. He cried after 5 seconds of having them on.

My Saving Grace on the Plane

You got it... lollipops.  It was a pretty full flight and the middle seat next to us was filled.  It was just the two of us on one tiny little airplane seat.  Luckily, he napped for an hour so we only had to keep busy for one hour. I can't even remember what we did!
