Yesterday, Rowan, Art, my mom, and I took a trip down to Covington to visit my Nanny and Great Aunt Kathleen. We learned how to make chicken and dumplings. I really hope that I can re-create Nanny's masterpiece. Dinner was SOOO good! No other southern cooking place can compare. Just to make your mouth water, we ate squash, fried okra, black eyed peas, and the tastiest chicken and dumplings ever! Can we go again, please?
Whenever I go to the refrigerator to fill a cup with water out of the dispenser, Art turns and lunges forward. He loves to drink water. Here he is reaching for my glass.
He can practically hold the cup on his own and bring it to his mouth. (My hand is underneather just in case.)
He loves glasses and kept trying to take them off of Great Aunt Kathleen's face. She put them on him and he didn't like it.
I had to get this picture. Rowan put my nursing wrap on and was carrying around her baby. Classic!
