He knows exactly what to do with the phone, but he also does this with remote controls.
When I was watching Shayla one day, I showed him a picture of Daddy that he sent us. He thought Brian was on the phone and said "heh-whoa." I knew I had to call him at work. I put Art on the phone, but he just smiled and was so excited to hear his voice. He doesn't talk much to the person on the other end of the phone.
Nathan is the same way! He talks into the phone like crazy all the way through it ringing and then the person picks up and he just smiles silently.
