A Little Busy Lately...

Sorry blog friends, we've been a little busy.  I am sure you don't care about my life, but I feel like I have a little bit of an excuse.  This is my new backyard.

For those that are curious, this is what it used to look like.  Not the best, but it gives you an idea.

So you ask, why? We used to have a nice paver patio, but the roots from a river birch tree grew under it so we decided to pull it up and cover the roots with a deck.  In hindsight, cutting the tree may have been a better option!  More to come on the progress.  Brian and I have been very busy. (My parents have been amazing with helping get everything together.)
